President (E) Rodríguez announces responsible wage increase and creation of Commission for Labor Dialogue

This Wednesday, the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, during a special message to the Nation, with the purpose of making firm progress towards the prosperous development of the Homeland and continuing to strengthen the principles of sovereignty, peace, coexistence, dialogue and national reunion, announced that on May 1st she will decree a new wage increase.

“He announced that I will decree a responsible increase in salary for May 1 within a new labor and social security model aimed at avoiding precarious work in matters such as working hours, holidays, as well as reserving the possibility of pensions for those who have reached working time,” said the president in charge.

In this regard, it installed the Commission for Labor Dialogue with the participation of the State, the private sector, workers and pensioners for a new model

He also advocated consensus on wage and labor matters to choose which model is needed to guarantee the growth and future of Venezuelans
