Since Thursday morning, employees of Banco Nación de Argentina have been marching against the Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) announced by President Javier Milei, which provides for the privatization of State companies.
The workers were stationed outside the bank with signs and with a loud voice they pointed out that “the BN is not sold” and demanded that “not one less job”.
In a statement, the Banking Association condemned the measure imposed by Milei that “overwhelms and hits democracy and institutions”, while rebutting that “Banco Nación and public banks in general are converted into a public limited company for subsequent sale or liquidation, as if it were just another business”.
The union declared itself in a state of alert and mobilization in the face of Milei's arbitrary announcements.
