During his Con El Mazo Dando #584 program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, asserted that there are Venezuelan opponents who are good and hardworking.

“If any opponent says they are against hate speech, they destroy it themselves,” he said, while questioning that this logic implies that “to be an opponent you have to be a hater.”

He asserted that extremists are responsible for scratching all opponents, and generating hatred between brothers and using any scenario, they don't care about anything.

He recalled that when the double earthquake that mainly hit La Guaira happened, they did a horrible media operation, it didn't matter to the people who died there, the survivors, or the people who were suffering because of their losses, “they only wanted political credit.”

“We haven't left La Guaira, we're still working every day,” he said.

He also called for closing the door to hate, there are people who would feel free to do things against other human beings, so there must be a limit and the limit is the law.

“Let's stop hate, put a stop to hate, and I wish that in this country and in no country in the world there would be a law to punish intolerance and those fascist expressions of hate,” he said
