Bolivarian Cement Federation reaffirmed its commitment to the supply of material for reconstruction

The Secretary General of the Bolivarian Cement Federation, José Vale, reaffirmed the organization's absolute commitment to providing strategic material for infrastructure reconstruction projects being carried out in the country as a result of the catastrophe left by the double earthquake of last June 24.

Through an interview with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Vale strongly denied the negative opinion matrices that attempt to discredit the quality of the Venezuelan product, while assuring that the cement produced in the country, in all its plants, strictly complies with national and international standards.

In this regard, he pointed out that in the federation “we work under the guidelines of the regulations of the Venezuelan Commission on Industrial Standards (COVENIN) and the Fund for Quality Standardization and Certification (FONDONORMA), which allows us to guarantee a first-rate input.”

“The technical quality report of our product complies with the COVENIN form, with the FONDONORMA, has a standard of 280 days and we passed the standards over 280 days from 2017 to 2025... It is a suitable, reliable and safe product for the country's construction sector,” he said.

He also highlighted the dignity and daily effort of workers in the sector, who have responsibly accepted the call to raise production levels to respond to the demand of the construction sector and the rebirth of Venezuela.

Vale reported that a team from the Venezuelan Cement Federation arrived at the Brisas community at the Airport in La Guaira, to support reconstruction efforts in the affected areas.

“Our Cement Federation has already arrived in La Guaira with five gangolas specifically destined for reconstruction work in the Brisas sector of the Airport. This is just the beginning; we will continue to continuously guarantee the cement that is required both in La Guaira and in any corner of the national territory where it is necessary,” he said.
