Bolivarian Government and the FANB add technical capabilities for search and rescue tasks in La Guaira

The National Government, in coordination with the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), adds technical and technological capabilities to strengthen search and rescue efforts following the earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 on June 24.
From the Army Command Post, installed in Caraballeda, La Guaira State, the Minister for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, highlighted the coordination and deployment of military personnel to reinforce rescue efforts, while reaffirming the “commitment to working together for the protection and well-being of the Venezuelan people.”
In addition, according to a press release, Jiménez said that the Bolivarian Government will remain deployed “putting science, technology and knowledge at the service of the search, rescue and care of the people affected by the earthquakes.”
Finally, the head of Venezuela's scientific portfolio ratified comprehensive support for affected families.
