ANNOUNCEMENT
The National Government, through the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), denounces a new terrorist attack against two of the main 765 kV transmission lines, infrastructure of vital importance for the flow of electrical energy in the country.
This extremist aggression seeks to deprive the Venezuelan people of electricity service, as part of a fascist strategy aimed at destabilizing peace and the national union that will prevail in the face of external threats.
As the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, has denounced, these attacks constitute a manifestation of electrical war, promoted by groups that operate in the service of dark interests and destabilizing agendas. Its objective is clear: to break national harmony in a scenario in which the North American empire threatens sovereignty with a war and psychological escalation.
In compliance with the provisions of the Organic Law on the Electrical System and Service, CORPOELEC has immediately activated protection and response mechanisms, guaranteeing both the progressive recovery of the service and the integrity of the electrical infrastructure.
Faced with these events, the response of the workers of CORPOELEC and the Venezuelan people will be firm and cohesive, once again demonstrating their determination to face any threat.
