Bolivarian Government deploys plan for the comprehensive recovery of basic services in the hospital network

The Bolivarian Government formally initiated the José Gregorio Hernández Hospital Infrastructure Plan, from the facilities of the Domingo Luciani Hospital in El Llanito, with the purpose of recovering prioritized health centers in the country.
In this regard, the sector vice-president of Health, Ecosocialism, Science and Technology, Dr. Isabel Iturria, pointed out that this plan contemplates the supply of drinking water, the waterproofing of roofs, the preventive maintenance of power plants for contingency situations, the repair of inoperative elevators and optimizing accessibility for people with motor disabilities through the construction of ramps that allow unhindered access.
In addition, according to a press release from the Ministry of Health, it announced that specific Metrobus routes will be designed to facilitate the transfer of workers, patients and visitors to public hospitals in the city of Caracas.
For his part, the vice president of Public Works and Services, Juan José Ramírez, emphasized that the Domingo Luciani Hospital, a strategic center that serves the population of Petare and the state of Miranda, serves as a starting point for a methodology that will spread rapidly throughout the national territory.
“We are here with the entire Public Services Office to solve problems in the shortest possible time, meeting each of the requirements that doctors and staff in the area have put forward to us to give continuity to this plan,” said Ramírez.
The deployment has begun with a cohort of nine prioritized hospitals and in the next ten days, new facilities will be added to this preventive and corrective maintenance plan, reaffirming the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to the optimization of public services in the health sector for the well-being of the Venezuelan people.
