Representatives of the Bolivarian Government, specialists in the provision of air service, met this Wednesday to evaluate strategies and develop action plans focused on continuing to strengthen operational security in the country.

As reported by the National Institute of Civil Aeronatics (INAC), authorities that make up the Wildlife Control Committee at Airports and their surroundings were present, who submitted proposals and protocols for action to reduce the likelihood of incidents related to the coexistence of wildlife in Venezuelan airport spaces, situations that represent risks for the optimal development of aeronautical operations.

The press release states that the proposals analyzed include the consolidation of a new wildlife management system, which includes, among other procedures, technical inspections of the country's air terminals, awareness-raising sessions for officials and communities that live in and near airports and the development of a wildlife manual adapted to the environmental conditions of each terminal, all with the purpose of ensuring maximum safety for air transport users.
