Bolivarian Government of Aragua releases protected wildlife species in Cojedes

The Bolivarian Government, through an articulated work between the Las Delicias Zoo and the Leslie Pantin Zoo, both located in the state of Aragua, carried out the release of 363 specimens of wildlife in protected natural areas of Cojedes.
These are conservation programs that seek to preserve biodiversity and ensure the balance of ecosystems in Venezuela.
The regional press details that the conference took place in the spaces of the company DEFORSA (San Carlos Forest Development), recognized for its studies on the conservation and protection of the jaguar.
The Las Delicias Zoo provided 350 savanna morrocoys (Chelonoidis carbonarius) rehabilitated after rescues and seizures for illegal traffic, in addition to 5 collared white-haired whales born in its facilities, in addition to another 20 previously released and already reported in field sightings and reproduction.
For its part, the Leslie Pantin Zoo contributed 8 chigüires (Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris) raised under ideal conditions in its facilities.
