The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, announced that next Wednesday the deployment plans for the Judicial Revolution will restart in the country, within the framework of the National Consultation for Criminal Justice Reform, promoted by the Bolivarian Government.

“On Wednesday, we are going to restart the deployment plans of the Judicial Revolution, which allows us to go to prisons, the Public Prosecutor's Office, the courts, the Ombudsman's Office, we settle there and we begin to make decisions on site to lighten the burden of these temporary prisons,” Cabello explained during the weekly press conference on the red awning.

He said that this deployment is a consequence of the launch of the National Consultation by the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, who handed over the spaces of the Petare Coliseum for culture and sports for local communities.

Cabello noted that the reform is intended to correct the flaws of the justice system, but not because it doesn't work. “Of course it works, we're saying it, when it didn't work it was when there was a hampoduct that the current government of the Fourth Republic had. Anyone who was against the government, do you know where they sent him? For El Dorado, they put people under the Law of Lazy and Malicious, and no one said anything, there was no problem, we faced it,” he recalled.

In this regard, he described as “the president's position to combat mafias at any level is courageous, because she cannot afford a good cop, a good judge, an honest prosecutor for the corrupt”, so he reiterated that the 0800 MATRACA line will soon be activated.
