The Minister of People's Power for Water Care, Carlos Mast, reported that the National Government is holding a permanent working session to address the water contingency generated by the recent seismic event in the central region.

“We are deployed with immediate actions to guarantee supply while technical repairs are progressing,” Mast said.

He indicated that the crews are carrying out recovery maneuvers in the affected systems and are maintaining an alternative plan for supplying tankers and delivering bottled water to communities in Caracas and La Guaira.

MinAguas and Logicasa completed the delivery of tanks to the Quinta Crespo care center, as part of the logistical support while the network is being stabilized.

The minister inspected the Maya-Picure adduction, where work is being done to repair the 36-inch pipe to restore service. He noted that the teams will remain deployed until fully operational.
