Bolivarian Government reopens Traumatology area of the Central Hospital of Maracay

The Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS), rehabilitated and reopened the traumatology area of the Central Hospital of Maracay (HCM), located in the state of Aragua.

The governor of the state of Aragua, Karina Carpio, accompanied by the single health authority, Shirley Hernández, and the director of the aforementioned hospital, Dr. Maribel Núñez, inspected the recovery work that was carried out in five months.

Carpio highlighted that the comprehensive recovery included air conditioning of the site, lighting installation, total roof recovery, rehabilitation of medical gas outlets, restoration of 15 bathrooms, 12 rooms; installation of paint and recovery of floors.

“This is part of the health route, here we have 22 traumatologists, 19 postgraduate residents, nurses, as well as hip, ankle and foot specialists,” said the Governor.

He also thanked the joint efforts of all the people involved in this project and all the companies in the state that made it possible to maximize resources.

“We continue to work for a beautiful state, with excellent health, as stated in our Magna Carta, we have emphasized care for patients and families, my thanks to all the specialists who work with that mystique of work,” he said.

The reinauguration of “Wing B” on the 6th floor of the Maracay Central Hospital represents an important advance in the hospital infrastructure of the state of Aragua and reflects the commitment of the Regional Government to the health and well-being of the population.
