Bolivarian Government will deploy 3,000 officials to provide security at Tourist Carnivals 2024

The Government of the state of La Guaira announced the deployment of three thousand security officers for the upcoming 2024 Tourist Carnivals, whose day will begin on Friday, February 9. The information was released by the governor of the entity, José Alejandro Terán, who offered statements accompanied by the mayor of the Vargas municipality, José Manuel Suárez and other leaders of the entities involved in the organization.

The regional president explained that the challenge is to continue to overcome what was achieved in previous years, “which is why we have prepared well in advance both in the field of security, accommodation and with regard to the event,” he said. He highlighted the more than three thousand civil servants on roads, highways, roads and different accesses; as well as on beaches, spas and tourist sites .

According to the first civil authority in the state, for the carnival days, the governor said, that they hope to be inaugurating the first phase of the rehabilitation of the Los Caracas Holiday City (Naiguatá), in which 70 cabins, restaurants, shops, camping areas and, as a possibility, the popular Mirador de Los Caracas are expected to be restored.
