Governor Luis Marcano inaugurated this Friday the Anzoátegui Tourist Point at the General José Antonio Anzoátegui International Airport, located in the Simón Bolívar municipality, with the purpose of positioning the entity as a reference destination in eastern Venezuela.

The space, identified with the Anzoátegui Te Enamora brand, was promoted by the state Tourism Corporation (CORANZTUR) and the National Tourism Institute (INATUR) in the entity, and is designed to guide national and international visitors with an offer of tourist packages, gastronomy and experiences in the region.

“Here you will find everything related to our islands, beaches, historic centers and accommodations,” Marcano highlighted during the tour, where he learned about the catalog of options that includes full days in the Mochima National Park and the Seven Floors Waterfall, the Dolphin Tour, the Magic Pirite Route, the Women of the Sea community plan and the immersive route Great Heroes and Heroines in the Strong House of Barcelona.

The regional president was accompanied by the Single Tourism Authority, Doryels Marín, and representatives of private sector travel agencies. During the activity, he invited travelers to visit the service point to plan their stay and taste local products from Mesa de Guanipa such as merey, peanuts and honey.
