Bolivia sends 20 rescuers and six tons of supplies to Venezuela

This Tuesday, 20 rescuers and 6 tons of supplies arrived in Venezuela from the Plurinational State of Bolivia, as part of international aid.
“We have received 20 rescuers, an expert group of men and women who have come to me from Bolivia to join the search and rescue efforts,” said the Deputy Minister of International Communication, Rander Peña, in charge of receiving the Bolivian delegation.
He also specified that “six tons of food, medicines and materials of different types arrived from the highlands to help in this very difficult situation that the Venezuelan people are facing.”
The Bolivian delegation is headed by Héctor Guanca Gutiérrez, Deputy Minister of Consular Management, who explained that the commission is made up of 36 Bolivians, including 20 rescuers.
“We are in this work and we are willing to cooperate as much as possible to the best of our ability,” he said.
