A fourth flight from the Federative Republic of Brazil arrived in Venezuelan territory with a contingent of 35 specialized firefighters. The fundamental objective of these technical personnel is to immediately join the search and rescue operations deployed in the state of La Guaira, following the devastating earthquakes recorded in the country.

The solidarity mission is directly coordinated by the Brazilian Cooperation Agency and the Foreign Ministry of the neighboring nation. This international deployment is active in the areas that suffered the greatest structural impacts since last June 24, coordinating efforts with local authorities in emergency areas.

As a result of the maneuvers on the ground, Brazilian teams have already managed to rescue alive two people who were trapped in the rubble in the state of La Guaira. These civil protection tasks are carried out continuously to speed up the location of citizens and the stabilization of affected perimeters.

For its part, the Brazilian government confirmed that it remains at the full disposal of Venezuelan authorities and international organizations to expand humanitarian support as required.
