The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that every April 11, 12 and 13 , the Chavista people take to the streets to remember what happened 24 years ago and that marked the history of the Revolution.
“In the last 24 years, the Chavista
people have been taking to the streets to remember what happened on December 11th, and to celebrate what happened on
the 13th, when a people united with their Armed Forces rescued the President elected
by all Venezuelans,” he said during the March for the 24th Anniversary of the
Rescue of National Dignity in Caracas.
In that sense, he specified that the opposition sectors hit
the Commander because “they wanted to, there
was no historical reason, it was because they wanted to, because Chávez was not part of their
group, he was not manageable, that's all.”
He highlighted that the coup actions were a conspiracy between businessmen, media owners, union bosses and some military coup plotters.
