Cabello highlighted Commander Chávez's intelligence and insight to circumvent the flattering right: It never changed!

Diosdado Cabello, first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), said that “Chávez is not an instant”. This was stated on the Maduro Podcast together with the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro and added “we are still learning from him and he guides us”.

Speaking of Commander Chávez, he noted that “I had to work with him. I remember in December 1998, the day after I was elected president of the country, we went to a program called La Silla Caliente, because during the election campaign it was said that the candidate who won would keep it. At the end of the interview, we entered an office and I already had in a folder the list of those who I had to appoint as ministers. The person who spoke to him and told him that so and so was the one from the National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) and the Commander turned around and saw me and said that he is the one from CONATEL!”

In the conversation with the Head of State and the First Combatant, Cilia Flores, the vice-president of the red awning said that “Commander Chávez fought everything he had ready for appointments (...) it was always like that, it never changed; he had his principles above anything, his values were indisputable and he had roots that he had planted in him”.
