The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, assured this Monday that the opposition was the one who ordered the assassination of the revolutionary leader Eliézer Otaiza.

During the first press conference of the red awning in 2024, Cabello recalled that this Sunday marked the 59th anniversary of the birth of Otaiza, “martyr of the Bolivarian Revolution”, and stressed that “when we see this opposition acting, the one who previously had any doubts about the way in which Eliézer Otaiza was assassinated today should not have any doubts left, it was the Venezuelan opposition that ordered his assassination”.

The senior leader of the PSUV stated that the revolutionary martyr was a “great companion”, who militated in the socialist process with absolute loyalty to Commander Hugo Chávez.
