The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, this Wednesday, September 20, downplayed a user's comment about the food tastes of the humble Venezuelan people.

He stated that this user “in his life has had the need to eat what humble people in this country eat”.

In his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 583, he referred specifically to a custom in the state of Monagas, where an empanada is placed inside a loaf of bread to eat.

In response, Cabello stressed that the “delicate user doesn't know, they don't have to know, ignorance is sometimes daring, that in Monagas, in Maturín, empanada is eaten with bread. Inside a loaf of bread, you place the empanada.”

“Don't go to try empanada with bread because it's for ordinary tastes, those with exquisite tastes have to try something else. We are happy with spaghetti with sardine, which is called 'Cielito Lindo' (...) these are the ones who want to govern Venezuela out of idiocy,” he said.

He commented that the absurd comment was against the revolutionary deputy of the National Assembly (AN), Rodbexa Poleo, that “she leaves La Guaira very little to attend to the brothers who are there in the La Marítima camp”.

“Rodbexa is not that fine”, like the user, “he must be a very fine guy, daddy and mommy's children,” Cabello ironized.
