The vice-president of the Politics, Public Security and Peace sector, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, expressed his absolute rejection of wrongful acts and in Venezuela “whatever you call yourself, if you are involved in strange stories, you are captured and brought to the order of justice.”

“Everyone who assumes their responsibility,” he said.

This was stated in reference to the case of the invasion of parliamentary immunity of the main deputy for the state of Mérida, Julio César Torres Molina, who was arrested in flagrante delicto for possession of 20 kilos of cocaine.

In that regard, he commented that in the evening hours of last Tuesday, August 12, “here we don't cover up scoundrel from anyone, that night our Security Agencies arrested a deputy with drugs.”

“Today (Wednesday, August 20) the National Assembly decided its position and the search was carried out (to its parliamentary immunity), now it is being tried. He's a criminal, then,” he said.

He emphasized that the deputy was not chosen to commit crimes, to become drug trafficking agents, “as Pablo Escobar did in the Colombian Congress, he's already dead and he still has his deputies and senators there.”

“What is that, what is that. Total and absolute condemnation. It's not good, this town throws away too much for an irresponsible person to come and throw that pod on the People, who chose it,” he stressed.

In this regard, Cabello, his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 539, highlighted that he was informed of the arrest of Torres Molina, in real time, and authorized that his car be searched, since the vehicle has no immunity.

Cabello also referred to the statements of the opposition deputy Bernabé Gutiérrez, regarding the interference of the United States in Venezuela, “it is a very strong statement of defense of our Homeland.”

“Beyond political differences, right now, that has value, more than people that the United States continues to threaten it,” he said.
