The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted this Friday the activation of a registration center in the Caracas Polyhedron for people who want to volunteer to join rescue efforts in the state of La Guaira, following the earthquakes last Wednesday.
From the coastal entity, Cabello pointed out that people who want to support do so in the humanitarian fields, but also in the health field.
“The health issue has to do with the fact that today it is 26, it's not happening, but a public health issue could happen, because remember that we have living people under the rubble, but we also have dead people, unfortunately. That has to be taken care of,” he explained.
He pointed out that people can register at the Caracas Polyhedron and “the authorities will be making decisions along the route to prevent people who do not have any type of homework assigned here in La Guaira from coming (...) Access to the state of La Guaira is restricted as of 8 o'clock in the evening of today, June 26,” he reiterated.
“We thank everyone who has been joining us, but it is necessary that everything has an order, an order according to the moment we are living in. The humanitarian issue, the health issue that are fundamental from now on,” Cabello emphasized.
