The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, criticized a new campaign of attacks by the extreme right against leaders appointed by the opposition to participate in the Dialogue Table with the National Government.

During the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, Cabello pointed out that “it seems that dialogue is not a dish that many people like”, referring to the sectors of extremism, stressing that “ politics is basically dialogue (...) the exercise of politics”.

In this regard, he stressed that the PSUV represents an exercise in permanent dialogue; however, “there are opposition sectors that do not understand that (...) because they are used to something else, they are the same people who go to elections, lose and do not recognize, they are the same ones who say one day one thing and tomorrow say another”, he stressed.

He indicated that the Dialogue Table is already in its third day, “and there it is moving forward”, but “now they are making attacks on a personal level. And I'm not talking on a personal level about the delegation of the Bolivarian Revolution. I speak on a personal level of those appointed by the opposition. They attack them on a personal level. A new version of the scorpion is now being tried to put on the table. No, this country doesn't need that. Let them join,” Cabello emphasized.
