Cabello: Revolutionaries must beware of the manipulations of US imperialism

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, once again emphasized that it is of fundamental importance for all revolutionaries to always take care of themselves, since North American imperialism “is aware of the details and has agents in all parts of the world.”
“I always say it to some colleagues and I always repeat it to my colleagues in the JPSUV,” he said.
He argued that “there are people who lose their way and they do that with their comrades in political parties, they detect their weaknesses and work on them, they seek them out, they praise them. European embassies are specialists in that regard.”
In this regard, Cabello, his show Con el Mazo Dando, broadcast number 460, highlighted that this was a task for the United States within the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), “to recruit officers, who were not soldiers of the Armed Forces, but at their command.”
He explained that it was normal for FANB officers to go to various courses held in the United States, “and they came brainwashed, a great officer could go there and came with doubts.”
Cabello stressed that the tactics are effective, “if they do it, if they work at it, they (the United States) know how to gain space, that's why in Bolivia who staged the coup d'etat? The officers who were in the United States.”
As for Venezuela, he recalled that the officers who worked alongside the members of the Punto Fijo Pact to run over the people were the ones who went to those courses in the United States.
As an example, he mentioned “the character Peñaloza Zambrano, he was a North American agent, he handed over the Army and the next day he went to the United States and has never returned to Venezuela. He is also a criminal.”
