Cabello: The same people who staged the coup against the Commander are those who attack the Homeland today

This Monday, April 13, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stated that those who staged the coup against Commander Hugo Chávez in 2002 are the same people who today are calling for attacks against the Homeland.

“If you review the politicians who participated in that event, they are the same as they are right now, they are exactly the same and the reasons are exactly the same, because they have not governed this country again and are not going to govern it again,” he said during the March for the 24th Anniversary of the Rescue of National Dignity in Caracas.

In this regard, he indicated that these sectors will never govern Venezuela again, “because when this people remember April 11, 12 and 13, what they remember is the indignation at those who abused the force they had at that time, before a President who demonstrated that under any circumstances he was an extraordinary human being.”

Cabello also recognized the Bolivarian Militia, which was created by Commander Chávez, based on what happened on April 11, 12 and 13. “People and Armed Forces who came out to defend the country, the Constitution and him personally because of their quality as a human being,” he said.
