Venezuela is a beacon and we must always hold on to Commander Chávez, to his idea, to his lines,” was the call made by the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.

During the broadcast of the 460th edition of his program Con el Mazo Dando, he recalled that, after the physical departure of Commander Hugo Chávez, Venezuela has been the subject of multiple attacks aimed at putting an end to the revolutionary process initiated by the supreme leader and he did not hesitate to point out that these actions have been defeated thanks to the conscience of the People.

“It hasn't been easy since 2014, so complicated since he left, difficult for a country that received one out of every 100 dollars it received , and with luck. But the conscience of the People allowed resistance, which shows that Commander Chávez did not plow in the sea and 25 years later we say that here is the seed of Commander Hugo Chávez; on the street, in towns, in cities, in universities, in schools,” he said.

He insisted on the importance of remaining firm in the practice and implementation of the objectives set by the Supreme Commander.

“I say that we must be preachers of the word and work of Commander Chávez wherever we stand,” he urged while stressing the need for the unity of the revolutionary forces to guarantee the victory of the Bolivarian project.

“With no chance of betrayal, we are united around Bolívar and Chávez,” he said and dismissed the disinformation campaign promoted by opposition sectors surrounding the supposed division of Chavism in the face of the presidential elections of 2024.

“It's the longline (...). They have been crashing with the Revolution for 25 years and every day they give a first: 'Tubazo! ' , and they're wrong and they don't rectify it, right now they're talking about us fighting and I don't know what they're going to do when they see the podcast where we couldn't laugh Nicolás (Maduro), Cilia (Flores) and I on that show, we were all serious,” he ironized.

“Who's going to believe you bulurdos and bulurdas?” , pointed out and assured that within the opposition there is an internal struggle “because they are fighting” and are seeking funding from the United States.

Justice for the People

He highlighted recent news of legal actions against those responsible for events that jeopardized the country's stability and asserted that these judicial actions bring hope to the people.

“When justice begins to operate, the people's hopes are reborn, they are comforted (...). To achieve true peace, authentic justice is necessary, without privileges, that people are given where it hurts the most,” he said.

He remarked that “those who lost invasions, sanctions, blockades, persecution and now want to be Presidents, must be given in their ego and that is what the law and our Constitution, Article 130, are for.”

He added that personal actions have nothing against members of the opposition sector, but rather that he rejects what they represent because it hurts Venezuela.

“I want to make it very clear, really, very seriously, I have nothing against these people personally, it doesn't work, they're human beings. It's what they represent, what they have become,” he said.

Alert with Ecuador

The also deputy and president of the Permanent Committee on Internal Policy of the National Assembly, lamented the violence that broke out in Ecuador and warned that behind these actions is the Government of the United States.

“Behind what is happening in Ecuador is the United States, no one believes in innocence, that is the model of El Salvador, where the United States says yes but no, but they support it,” he denounced.

He also said that this violence is carried out by Colombian drug trafficking mafias who moved to the southern nation in the face of the combat policy implemented by Colombian President Gustavo Petro.

“The Petro Government acting and the mafias fleeing, and many of those mafias have gone to Ecuador (...). In any case, you have to be on the fly, the United States Government always uses methods to apply them,” he added.
