The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that “we have made some progress in relation to the lifting of sanctions against our country”
This was stated from the commune of La Chapa in the state of Trujillo, where he noted that “this has been achieved, we have had those advances, thanks to the work that colleague Delcy Rodríguez has been doing”
“The Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) has already been recognized for receiving resources, as well as public banks and that is a huge step, because until recently it was not possible. This is how spaces are opening up and the most important thing is the people's coexistence to have endured all that,” he stressed.
He recalled the words of Commander Hugo Chávez of “commune or nothing”, so he emphasized their importance. “The people have that strength. In Venezuela, it is the only country that convenes and self-convenes to ask for an end to sanctions.”
