The Caracas Fire Department is still deployed in the Sucre municipality, in the Petare parish, specifically in the Palo Verde Industrial Zone, in front of the Palo Verde Metrocable station, in the cooling work after a strong fire that occurred this Monday, August 31.

Under the direction and direct command of General Jorge Galindo, who serves as Head of the Operations Area, officials continue to carry out arduous cooling tasks after the large fire that hit the area yesterday, the fire department says on its Instagram account.

The fundamental purpose of these tactical operations is to ensure that the heat load of the accident continues to decline progressively.

In parallel, emergency teams carry out an exhaustive review and thorough inspection of each area of the affected structure, in order to detect, isolate and mitigate any heat point or possible source of residual ignition that could trigger the ignition of the flames and jeopardize the safety of the sector.
