Diosdado Cabello: Extremist right-wing media are miserable

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, argued that the media of the extremist right are miserable, since when reporting the news about the tragic earthquakes and the recent heavy rains that have hit the country, they include an ill-intentioned political element.

In this context, he questioned that these media outlets in the news of other countries do not include politics, “but with us they do”

“Why do they put in the garbage? Because they're miserable. They are not journalists, they stopped being media, they are miserable. That's the truth, real miserables,” he emphasized.

In his Con El Mazo Dando program, issue number 580, as an example, he mentioned NTN24, which presents the recent regrettable floods in Nepal based exclusively on natural events, but when reviewing the rains in Venezuela, he refers to the management of the Bolivarian Government.

“When it comes to Nepal, he never talks about the Government, so that they can see what the war against Venezuela is like,” he said and warned that “there are people who are incredulous and play the game against the opposition, to repeat the things that the opposition says.”

He also commented on information published by El Nazional, La Patilla and EVTV, regarding the rains, with the same way of constructing the news.

“It's the difference between how they treat news. The same news; here (Venezuela) the misery, and here (Nepal) what happened,” he said.
