China reaffirms its support for Venezuela with 85 tons of humanitarian aid

In an act of solidarity that reaffirms that the Venezuela-China relationship is under test and at all times, 85 tons of humanitarian aid from the Asian giant arrived at the “Simon Bolivar” International Airport in La Guaira.

The aid was received by the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, who thanked the Government of the People's Republic of China, its president Xi Jinping, who since the first moment of the earthquake tragedy has been in communication with the Government of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez.

In this regard, he explained that the load received brings with it tents, electric, gasoline and diesel plants, solar panels and “various materials to precisely serve the population that has been left vulnerable”, while assuring that with this “demonstration of detachment, of collaboration, our strategic partnership is being tested and demonstrated all the time”.

Finally, the foreign minister highlighted the work in the field of the Chinese community: “it is a community that is perfectly integrated into the Venezuelan community. We're brothers, we're friends.”
