The vice-president of Formation and Ideology of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Tanía Díaz, stressed that behind that expression we saw yesterday in Ecuador are right-wing governments in their intention to dismantle national structures to impose a neoliberal state on them.

Deputy Díaz asserted that Venezuela confronted with the civic military and police union these criminal and paramilitarized gangs that generate terror in the population and dismantled them without the need to decree a state of emergency or suspend guarantees.

He added that this phenomenon of violence that occurred in Ecuador last Tuesday in January responds to the interests of oligarchic economic groups in that country linked to the extreme right, drug trafficking and paramilitarism, using young people from the most disadvantaged sectors of society as cannon fodder.

He specified that although Miami in the United States tried to involve the Venezuelan government with these criminal gangs, the Ecuadorian government itself recognized that these groups belong to that country, however, it drew attention to the veiled intentions of the United States to declare the Ecuadorian State incapable of confronting violence that would allow them to justify the increase of the military presence in that nation.
