CONVIASA announced the reprogramming of national and international routes in the face of a seismic emergency

The Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services (CONVIASA) announced the rescheduling of its domestic and international routes due to the temporary suspension of Maiquetía's “Simon Bolivar” International Airport, with the objective of restoring the country's air connectivity after the earthquakes recorded last June 24.

In an official statement, the state airline explained that general commercial operations and destinations such as Mexico and Havana will operate temporarily from Valencia's Arturo Michelena International Airport (Carabobo), while flights to Barinas and Las Piedras will be carried out from Los Tacariguas Airport in Maracay (Aragua); likewise, confirmed flights on the Porlamar- route Barbados from July 1 and 15 will be moved to Wednesday, July 8 and 22, 2026, respectively, maintaining their regular schedules.

CONVIASA thanked the people and users for their understanding of these force majeure measures strictly aimed at safeguarding the integrity of travelers, while urging citizens to keep informed about the status of their itineraries through their digital channels and authorized official accounts.
