CVG and MIDMEIB set up collection centers to receive aid for those affected by a seismic emergency

The Venezuelan Corporation of Guyana (CVG) and the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecological Mining Development and Basic Industries (MIDMEIB) have set up a network of collection centers in different municipalities of the state of Bolivar to receive donations that will be sent to families affected by the recent earthquake in the country.
The main reception points were installed in the Plaza Las Banderas of CVG Casa Matriz, the Maxys building and the headquarters of CVG in Ciudad Bolívar. In addition to these, there are spaces set up by basic companies, with the purpose of facilitating the delivery of aid by workers and citizens in general.
Also functioning as collection centers are the administrative building of Briquetera de Venezuela; the Briquetera del Orinoco dining room; the Human Resources offices of the National Steel Complex; Refractarios de Venezuela; the Porto Bello Shopping Center; Club Caronoco; the Office of Citizen Services and the Ferrominera Sports Center Orinoco; Club Tocoma, in Ciudad Piar; Naviorca's administrative headquarters; Cabelum; the Orinoco Theatre in Venalum; Alcasa; different locations in Sidor; Briquetera del Caroní; Seamless Tubes; Carbonorca; Ferrocasa; Insubacovi and Comsigua.
Authorities reported that among the required supplies are non-perishable food, drinking water, powdered milk, infant formula, baby food, disposable diapers for children and adults, personal hygiene items, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper, sanitary napkins, medicines and first aid supplies, clothing and footwear in good condition, blankets, sheets, mats, flashlights, batteries and food for pets.
The call remains open to all people and institutions that wish to contribute to this day of solidarity, while the work of providing care and assistance to the communities affected by the emergency continues.
