Delcy Rodríguez on cooperation with the EU: We are moving towards a new stage of productive relationship

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, said this Thursday that the country is moving forward in a productive relationship with the European Union (EU) for the mutual benefit of nations.

Through her Telegram channel, the president in charge described as “cordial” the working meeting she held with the Deputy Director General for the Americas at the European Foreign Action Service (EEAS), Pelayo Castro, and his delegation, “in order to strengthen our cooperation with Europe on the basis of respect and constructive dialogue.”

“We are moving towards a new stage of productive relationship, through mechanisms of joint work, for the benefit of our nations,” he emphasized in his message.

During the meeting, held on Wednesday, the parties discussed key issues of joint work and integration, under the principles of mutual respect, respect for sovereignty and constructive dialogue.
