Delcy Rodríguez thanked Kaja Kallas for assistance from the European Union after earthquakes in Venezuela

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a telephone contact this Saturday with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, to discuss support for the country after the strong earthquakes of last June 24.

During the call, the president in charge thanked Kallas “for the assistance of the European Union and its States in responding to the emergency facing our country,” she wrote on social networks.

From the outset of the catastrophe, several countries of the bloc expressed their solidarity with the People and Government of Venezuela, and, in addition, they sent delegations of rescue workers and humanitarian support.
