This Thursday, the first vice-president of the National Assembly, Deputy Pedro Infante, denounced the ruling of the Supreme Court of Justice of the United States confirming the usurpation of the assets of the company CITGO.
“It is so much to consummate the theft of our company and we want to point out as responsible the National Assembly 2015-2020, the deputies who approved all these appointments,” he emphasized before the plenary.
In this regard, he said that the Parliament supports the statement issued by the Foreign Ministry of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela against this ruling, while asserting that the National Government “will continue to fight, doing everything it has to do to defend assets abroad that are the property of our people.”
He asserted that those Venezuelan right-wing conspirators who handed over to CITGO will bear the full weight of justice because with the laws of extinction of ownership and the law on the protection of assets and the Constitution, “Venezuela will respect its right to those resources”.
