Dio Sdado Cabello highlighted the audacity and courage of the hero of the Fatherland, General Domingo Antonio Sifontes, “The Terror of the English”.

“He was sick and, sick and everything, he grabbed the bull by the bunches and beat them. A patriot, without a doubt,” he emphasized, while noting that “I'm sure, instinct tells me, he was inspired by Bolívar.”

Cabello argued that if Sifontes had asked for permission at that time, to act in the “Cuyuní Incident”, the armed confrontation between Venezuelans and the British, “they would have told him no, Venezuela was destroyed and four years later the Arbitration Award came, there was no way to respond.”

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), during his program Con el Mazo Dando, broadcast 460, stressed that there are still many people from the opposition sector who feel colonized, “they feel like subjects”.
