Diosdado Cabello on his beginnings in revolutionary militancy: It all started in high school!

Diosdado Cabello, during his participation in President Nicolás Maduro's Podcast in episode #4, commented that his militancy in the revolutionary ranks began when he was just a high school student.

“When we left the fourth year, they changed our high school because I had started to serve in the Red Flag party, and I was part of the Committee for Revolutionary Student Struggle at a time when from Furrial, (Monagas) many young people went to guerrilla warfare in the 70s, leaving many homes in mourning ,” Cabello said.

He added that at that time it happened that one of his friends with whom he played baseball was arrested for his association with insurgent groups against the governments of the Fourth Republic, so they went to visit him while he was in detention and there his militancy in revolutionary ideas deepened.
