The first vice-president of the United Socialist
Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón,
during the broadcast of his program Con El Mazo Dando #485 highlighted the achievements of the Bolivarian Revolution in
terms of university education.
In this regard, he assured that under the
project led by Commander Hugo Chávez, more than
100 universities were created in the country to guarantee the right to education and a prosperous future
for young people.
Cabello specified that eliminating this right is part of the opposition's plan if it came to power, to hand it over to private companies and deny the humble the possibility of studying.
In 2003, Commander Chávez created the Bolivarian University of Venezuela (UBV) and university villages emerged from it to provide higher education to inhabitants of hard-to-reach places .
