Diosdado Cabello: Those who bet on disaster were overwhelmed by a town on the street

During the usual press conference of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the first vice-president of the red awning, Diosdado Cabello, celebrated a successful closing of the year 2023 on Monday, with a happy and peaceful Christmas.

“Those who were betting on disaster were overwhelmed by a town in the street,” said Cabello, referring to the massive mobilizations of Venezuelans during the holidays, demonstrating the country's economic recovery.

With regard to international politics, the senior leader of the PSUV highlighted the victory obtained against US imperialism with the release of diplomat Alex Saab, who was kidnapped in a prison in the United States (USA) for almost four years.

“This demonstrates the political motive for his kidnapping from Cape Verde to the United States, violating all the rules of international law. He was released and today he is with his family,” said Cabello.

He emphasized that this is how imperialism has acted all its life, and so he remembered the people kidnapped in the Guantánamo prison. “It's the empire at work,” he said.
