The general secretary of the United
Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, assured that the
Bolivarian Government continues to provide care to the people of La Guaira 75 days after the double earthquake
of last June 24.
“Well, it's been 75 days since the double earthquake
(...) there in La Guaira there remains, day after day, the entire National Government, the United Socialist
Party of Venezuela deployed everywhere, the Commune
deployed everywhere,” he said.
He also referred to the fact that while the Government's
work has not been finished, “what is over is the talk and
foolishness of the Venezuelan opposition and its spokespersons, that was over, a
long time ago”, stressing that the longliners and stars of the opposition have
not gone any further since the first demolitions were carried out.
“The demolition took place and then they didn't
come back. We miss them there, so that they see how they work with
dedication, with care, with dedication, but above all with
responsibility for the task we have,” he said.
He reaffirmed that controlled demolitions of buildings marked as high-risk have continued to be carried out. “Everything has come out with Venezuelan technology, with Venezuelan explosives, without any kind of problem or inconvenience,” he said.
