Earthquake of magnitude 6.1 shook several areas of Chile

On December 21, the Chilean National Seismological Service reported a magnitude 6.1 earthquake that shook Tocopilla, Calama and María Elena, causing alarm among the population.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 35 km west of Tocopilla, with a depth of 33 kilometers. While in the Antofagasta sector, it reached 4 on the Richter Scale.
