Ensamble Colibrí del Chiquero brought music to a temporary camp in La Guaira

The musical ensemble Colibrí del Chiquero brought a day of popular music and Afro-Venezuelan rhythms to the temporary camp of the La Guaira school, within the framework of the program “Venezuela is Dreaming”.

The group shared its musical proposal with children, families and older adults who remain in this space, in an activity that promoted encounter, joy and culture among the people served in the camp.

The member of the ensemble, Sandino Primera, stressed the importance of participating in these days and accompanying families. “We have the privilege of having been convened among many groups and individuals to accompany, add work and effort in the camps,” he said.

In addition, Primera thanked the invitation and stated that they feel privileged to be able to contribute to these initiatives, in which art and music become spaces for encounter and solidarity.
