The president of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, declared that a just world is possible, although not with the United States, which with its military industry encourages wars and conflicts.

The Turkish president specified, as reported by the Russian Today portal, that “international organizations do not take any concrete measures to prevent” the development of hostilities in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“The Israeli Government is causing massacres in Gaza that would make humanity blush. All civilian settlements, from places of worship to schools, from hospitals to markets, are being bombed. Today in Gaza, not only children, women, the elderly and journalists are being killed, but all the values of humanity,” said the Head of State.

He regretted that the ceasefire resolution had been rejected in the Security Council only with the vote of the United States and, after wondering if a just world is possible, he said: “a just world is possible, but not with the United States.”

According to Erdogan, “the US is on Israel's side with its money and ammunition.” “America, how will you respond to this?” , he asked. The Turkish leader also denounced that the Security Council, “whose duty was to preserve world peace”, has become “a council to protect Israel”.

In this context, he stressed the need for the body to “reform”. “There was no ceasefire decision due to the United States veto [...]. It's not possible for humanity to get anywhere with this UN, with this UN Security Council,” he said.

The leader also called for those responsible for the atrocities committed in the Palestinian enclave to be punished. “After Gaza, nothing can go on as before. Gaza's butchers must be held to account for their crimes against humanity in international courts. In the end they will. We will follow up on this issue. We will do it together with the innocent people of Gaza,” he said.
