FANB apprehended three extortionists in Easter Valley

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) arrested two men and one woman dedicated to extortion in the central part of the town of Valle la Pascua, Guárico state, two men and one woman dedicated to extortion, said the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

According to information released in his X account, the senior military officer explained that those arrested were members of the Structured Organized Crime Group (GEDO) “Oscar de Jesús del Llano” and demanded that the victims pay 5 thousand dollars so as not to harm their integrity and family.

In the same way, he highlighted that two of those arrested were requested through the Integrated Police Information System (SIIPOL) because they were involved in other crimes.

“The FANB remains deployed together with the Public Security Agencies, guaranteeing the social peace of our people. Venezuela is a democratic State of law and justice where humanism prevails as the main fundamental right of our population,” he said.
