This Tuesday, November 3rd, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that it is being considered making available to communities the wood that is confiscated by police forces, since it is cut illegally.

In that sense, he specified that “it can be given to fishermen so that they can repair their boats themselves (...) because you know how to do your job”.

“I have an idea, we're going to mature it, we're going to get together now and look for the formula that the type of wood you use comes from. It's not just any wood that is used to repair boats,” he said.

This was stated in Carúpano, where he shared with the communities and referred to the issue of confiscations of wood as it is cut illegally, and it is necessary to decide what use should be given to these seizures.

He stated that currently fishermen are very organized like never before, “this does not mean that there are no problems, of course there are problems, but attention is being channeled to the problems.

Cabello also highlighted the struggle of the people of the East of the country, “the East has always been impregnable, they (extremists) should know it by now.”
