The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) began the dismantling of the citadels and camps installed in the La Bulla Loca mine, located in the La Paragua Forest Reserve, Bolivar state.

This was reported by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, who explained that national parks and forest reserves are under a special environmental protection security regime, so these structures are not allowed.

In this regard, the senior military officer explained that, to date, our soldiers have evacuated 1,728 illegal miners who had settled in this natural area.

“We must make an effort to build the homeland, not destroy it with illegal practices,” he stressed.
