FANB deploys Mobile Surgical Hospitals in La Guaira after an earthquake registered in the country

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) activated the immediate mobilization of Mobile Surgical Hospitals (HQ) with direct access to the state of La Guaira. This measure responds in a timely manner to the serious damage to infrastructure and services caused by the strong earthquake recorded yesterday afternoon in the national territory, prioritizing comprehensive medical care for the affected population.
The operation, coordinated with the support of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), involves the transfer of fully equipped field units to perform emergency surgical interventions and advanced life support. Military contingents are moving expeditiously to the coastal entity to establish rapid health care centers in communities that suffered the most structural damage.
These mobile hospitals have specialized medical technology, highly qualified military health personnel and autonomous capacity to perform complex surgery, wound triage and temporary hospitalization in disaster areas. Its installation will make it possible to decongest the local hospital network and provide an immediate response to citizen requirements in direct coordination with Civil Protection and fire departments.
With this humanitarian deployment, State security agencies reaffirm their commitment to protection, assistance and protection in the face of contingencies generated by the seismic event.
Medical assistance and damage assessment work will continue without interruption for the next few hours in order to stabilize the emergency situation throughout the coastal axis of La Guaira.
