FANB destroyed clandestine runway used by prospectors

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) destroyed a clandestine airstrip used by criminal groups dedicated to illegal mining in Alto Orinoco, reported the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through his account on the social network X, he explained that aircraft parts and spare parts were also destroyed on the aforementioned runway, in addition to gasoline from a Jet-A1 aircraft.
“The same was used by garimpeiros groups from Brazil that cross the border, taking advantage of the cover of the Amazon rainforest,” he said.
