FANB destroyed mining camp in Amazonas

The FANB continues its fight against illegal mining

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) detected and destroyed, in the area called Yagua, in the Atabapo municipality of the state of Amazonas, a camp used for illegal mining, reported the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB; G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through a message posted on his account on the social network X, he explained that 100 meters of 4-inch hose were found in the aforementioned space; 2 percussion hammers; 4 motor pumps; 100 meters of 4-inch PVC pipe; a drum containing 200 liters of gasoline, for the depredation of the environment.

“This procedure is framed in the criminal investigation carried out for the crimes provided for and sanctioned in the Criminal Environmental Law, within the Venezuelan criminal legal system,” he stressed.
